Annual Celebration of Craft

  • North Bennet Street School 150 North Street Boston, MA, 02109 United States (map)

My piece Meditation Lamp will be on display at the North Bennet Street School, along with other great work from the talented NBSS community: hand-carved furniture, ornate leather-bound books, heirloom quality jewelry, and more! Visiting the exhibit is free, and no RSVP is required.

North Bennet Street School (NBSS), the region’s premier center for craft, trade, and artisan education, presents a limited exhibition of unique and beautiful objects made by individuals trained at the School.

As part of the NBSS Annual Celebration of Craft, the Student & Alumni Exhibit features hand-carved chairs and cabinetry, jewelry in silver and gold, leather-bound books, handmade violins, and more. Over 60 artisans hailing from regions around the globe are represented in the show.

The exhibition takes place at two exceptional venues: the luxurious ground floor of Two International Place in Boston's Financial District from May 7-23, and then at the School's intimate Windgate Gallery in Boston’s North End from June 4-30. This is first time in the 19-year history of the Celebration that the Exhibit will travel between two distinct locations, offering broader access to the community.

Admission to the exhibit is free and open to the public. Sponsorships and tickets are available for a special Opening Reception on Thursday, May 10 at Two International Place. For more information on this event and the full Exhibit, visit nbss.edu/ACC2018.
